Business-first recommendations
Recommendations come from the business goals, customer journey, and actual workflow. They are not based on trends, templates, or a platform the studio is trying to sell.
About the studio
Calypso Digital Studio combines thoughtful design, practical development, and direct communication throughout each project.
The person behind the work
I’m Evan Lebrecht, the designer and developer behind Calypso Digital Studio. My background includes customer-facing work, team leadership, independent software projects, and hands-on responsibility for solving problems with limited time and resources.
Those experiences taught me to listen closely, explain complicated requirements in plain language, organize scattered information, and keep a project moving when the path is not obvious.
I do not assume an existing process is the best process. I look at what customers need, where a workflow slows down, what information is missing, and what can be made clearer or more efficient. That approach guides every website and custom tool I build.
The studio is based in New York’s Capital Region and works with clients anywhere.

How I approach the work
Each project is considered in real use: what customers need to understand, what the owner needs to manage, where the current process causes problems, and what will remain practical after launch.
Recommendations come from the business goals, customer journey, and actual workflow. They are not based on trends, templates, or a platform the studio is trying to sell.
Clients should understand what is being built, why it matters, and what decisions still need to be made.
Every page and feature should help a customer take action, reduce confusion, or make the business easier to run.
Scope, limitations, progress, and recommendations should remain clear throughout the project. That includes explaining when a feature is unnecessary.
